I love science fiction 馃А馃寣

I love Space, both the dark place that surrounds our world and the concepts/potential that exists outside our race.

While I'm sure that I won't reach that the Galactic Horizon. I'm always thankful that media like the Mass Effect games and Star Wars/Trek exist just to provide a little escapism from our earthly plane.

I highly recommend the Dune novels by Frank Herbert, they are to Sci-fi what Lord of the Rings is for Fantasy
@Longpatrol that's great I've heard of the films but never the novels. I'll check them out. Normally I've found novels provide more context that a couple hours movie. 鈽猴笍

@JessieAndThisEarthlyPlane The first Dune novel is an undisputed classic and an incredible example of world building! The following novels are...surreal.

@JessieAndThisEarthlyPlane Did you know that there is a really old Dune movie? I was trying to find Dune (the one from a couple years ago with Zendaya) on NetFlix and this old Dune movie came up. I watched it, it was actually really good!

@AshAnnJen2003 Ahh the David Lynch one with the internal dialogue?? It was shit! 馃槄

@SW-User Really? Did you like the Zendaya one better? I didn't. I admit the whispering internal dialogue was too much, but I thought the old one was a better story.

@AshAnnJen2003 Each to their own :)
