For the ones who seen the movie

I thought that movie was a little disappointing, but I still am glad I saw it because of the originality it displayed.

The actors had to do a lot of ad-libbing. Each day, when they woke up, they found directions from the director about what was supposed to happen in the story that day. And then they, and the camera crew, made it happen.

They managed to give the thing the "feel" of a documentary, which I thought was brilliant.

But I get the feeling that some of the responders to this thread think the movie was deceptively passing itself off as true. It was not. The cast even made appearances on late night television to talk about what it was like to film it. It was fiction, just like most movies we go to see. But the fact that some folks here think it was a hoax or fake means that they did a really good job of "appearing" to be a documentary.

So, I answered your question under the assumption you meant, "In the fictional story, were things supposed to be supernatural or were they supposed to be only people's imagination?" I answered "supernatural", although I realize now that I actually don't remember the details very much at this point in time!
