Good folk of SW - I require your opinion. I didn’t enjoy House of the Dragon season one, is season two any better?

I'm a big fan of the books and the first 5 seasons of GoT. I actually liked both seasons of HotD. But I guess you could say I'm biased.

The only helpful advice I can offer is that I liked the first one more than the second. If you don't like the first one, well, you know.

As for what @basilfawlty89 said about GoT, if you're going in with fresh eyes, you can be ok watching till the end of season 7. Lol, I personally hated 6-7 and 8.

For me watching season 8 was the equivalent of watching the reaction videos when the upstart Dallas Cowboys lost to my lowly Green Bay Packers in the 2024 playoffs.

I was practically pulling out my hair. 😭

Season one was better in my opinion, I don't think they needed to make three seasons out of it. I know how it ends and I think they could have easily tied it up in season two but chose to extend it out. Season three I think will be where all the action is.

Actually, I think worse if I remember correctly. It certainly wasn’t something I wasted my limited storage capacity over.

I thought both seasons were weak especially when compared to GOT.

GOT was epic with so many great characters and subplots. You really had to pay attention to keep up with all the twists and turns.

Haven't seen it. I bought Season 1 and have never finished watching it.

Haven’t watched season one yet.. but this guy looks cool..

I couldn’t even get through season one. And I heard the second season had horrible writing so might want to pass on it.

I still have not watched that or Game of Thrones. I know, I need to.
