@rinkydinkydoink I've just looked up Ann Carter this child star played Veronica Lakes daughter in the 1942 film I Married A Witch.
Looking like Veronica Lake's daughter gave her her first break, she was even given the same Peek-A-Boo hair style as Veronica, she eventually went on to teach not before starring in many films, I found her story interesting.
@senghenydd i don't watch any old movies i can't recall ever even watching a black and white film i just never had any interest in them. However My dad who was born in 1922 used to watch them all the time. He would tell me how tv didn't have color etc..it was so interesting hearing about all the things that he witnessed. He had a photo of himself with Bonnie & Clyde he worked at a gas station and when they were on the run he put gas in their car for them people were actually treating them like celebrities when they were on a murder spree
@AngelUnforgiven He actually put gas in their tank, that's a great story, I watch some old black and white films now and again we have a satellite channel which shows a great deal of old films it's called "Talking Pictures" it's a really popular channel it's been broadcasting ten years now.
My old Dad showed the late Robert Newton (actor who played Long John Silver) where to and how to fish in the River Lugg in Mid Wales many years ago.
