Classic Japanese movie, Attack from Space. 1965

The Earth is on the brink of destruction! Malevolent aliens known as the Spherions arrive from the Sapphire Galaxy, issuing a terrifying ultimatum: surrender or be annihilated by their powerful "burning glass" super-weapon, capable of incinerating entire cities from orbit.

With humanity's defenses useless against their advanced flying saucers and ray guns, all hope seems lost. But a new hero emerges from the stars to defend the innocent: Starman (the legendary Super Giant)! Can this steel-bodied champion from the Emerald Planet stop the Spherion invasion and save humanity from a fiery doom?

We were watching Laurel & Hardy in 'Laughing Gravy' midweek. We love L&H.
Recently ? "12 Angry Men" (1957)
One of my favorites.

In Harm's Way, just the other night. I watched it for the first time as a little girl with my father, he loved it (retired Marine Colonel and a John Wayne fan) and we would watch it anytime we found it on the Satellite dish...so, being sentimental , I watched it for the both of us one more time.

@WolfGirlwh0r3 I see that was released in 2024. The film was interspersed with black and white homages to the classic horror movies.
Is it worth watching?
WolfGirlwh0r3 · 36-40, T
@Gusman i started it expecting a very poor film, but Lilly Rose crafted an Artful Masterpiece

The last one I can remember I watched on a movie channel on TV. It was made in Germany and had English subtitles. The name of the movie was “M” & was about a man who was roaming a city looking for boys to murder.
@cherokeepatti

Peter Lorre at his creepiest.
I'm watching a slew of noirs right now on TCM. (Thursday morn into the afternoon, Sept 17).

The one-dimensional Lawrence Tierney was in the least worst of them... Bodyguard (1948).

Letty Lynton 1932. Glamorous, humorous, pre-code movie with Joan Crawford.
(Not the last one that I watched.) Grapes of Wrath 1940
Young Frankenstein

Not a traditional movie, a comedy sketch of about 18 minutes - Dinner for One 1963. I usually watch it every New Year's Eve.

Child Bride by Harry Revier
Publication date 1938

Must say that this is a controversial movie even for today. Yet archive.org does have it.

I do recall seeing some of the old B&W Lost in space episodes. Yet that was before that movie.

I believe those Lost in space episodes might be available on YouTube. Yet I don't know if you can access them because of country specific copyrights.
