So we as the audience know what they did that was so bad to begin with

Elessar · 31-35, M

Egotism. Doing evil is no fun unless you let everyone know how splendid you are. Just ask Elon Musk 🙄
val70 · 56-60
@MasterLee The key word being "flipped". It wasn't real, just a composition.
SunshineGirl · 36-40, F
@MasterLee Oh it's all so clear now. Musk (a well known Swiftie) was just trying to attract the attention of his heart throb at one of her concerts! 😃
MasterLee · 56-60, M
@SunshineGirl better answer than previous
Iwillwait · M
Like a verbal soliloquy of how they're going to carry out their perfect plan? 🙄
Hotchocolatezebra · 36-40, F
@Iwillwait That too. 🤭
val70 · 56-60
It's from the old theater tradition. Just think of Richard III's "Now is the Winter...".
MoSmith · 70-79New
@val70 the bad guys get all the best lines. Think of Lady Macbeth
val70 · 56-60
@MoSmith Hope you're well today. Just on during my lunch break. Taking dad out again soon.

Of course there is the great Alec Guinness as Fagin in David Copperfield: “Pleased to see you, my dear!” Nothing quite so sinister!

Because bad guys always get the best lines
To rage bait me! 😤😆
Soap operas too. I always wonder why the people take the time listening to their whole long speech and not just shooting them or something.

Soap operas drove me nuts with the person standing TWO ft away, turning to the side and talking about their WHOLE little psycho plot to destroy someone's life and the other person is just like "Oh, I'm sorry dear... Did you say something?" Meanwhile they had a whole 3 minute verbal villainous manifesto!🙈
MoSmith · 70-79New
@DancingStarGoddess never watch soap operas. Such a bore
Hotchocolatezebra · 36-40, F
@DancingStarGoddess I know right? Totally hilarious. 😂
@MoSmith Okeydoke!
swirlie · 31-35, F
Donald Trump does it, so why wouldn't a villain in a movie do it too?
GoFish · 41-45, F
an egotistical lecture to their enemy? lol
Hotchocolatezebra · 36-40, F
@GoFish That too. 🤣
GoFish · 41-45, F
@Hotchocolatezebra they do that irl too lol

Monologing!! The villians downfall!
UpsideOutInsideDown · 41-45, M
If they're anything like me, they're lazy and like talking about doing work more than actually doing it, so they're just putting it off.
This the famous "if you're going to shoot, shoot, don't talk"
Hotchocolatezebra · 36-40, F
@ImperialAerosolKidFromEP Guess they want to do the grand exit. 🤭
