Star Wars: A New Hope. An excellent film with timeless appeal, great choice!
With effortless nonchalance, Obi Wan speaks of Luke's father as if he were a commoner in the village; not the dread lord, Darth Vader. Deftly deflecting the fact they are one in the same.
Only the legendary Alec Guinness could portray Obi Wan.
The wise sage, and unassuming warrior, whose stories and gentle manner compel you to linger a while.

Unless, you can directly relate to Gregory Peck's (reporter Joe Bradley) pain in this scene leaving the palace, having said goodbye forever.
To a person you loved deeply. Which unfortunate timing, or social status, forbade.
(Audrey Hepburn - a princess, & Joe - a commoner, their love affair was ill fated from the start)
I've said goodbye, & taken that walk away more times than I care to count. Even cast a last glance back over my shoulder, at what might have been.
So I understand, on a visceral level; exactly where he's at.
