How interesting would the movie of your life be if it were directed by Quentin Tarantino or Mel Brooks?

“Making a film means, first of all, to tell a story. That story can be an improbable one, but it should never be banal. It must be dramatic and human. What is drama, after all, but life with the dull bits cut out?”

— Alfred Hitchcock

I don't think my story would be of interest to Hitchcock
@samueltyler2

You make a solid point. Now I want to rewrite the post to include any director. Maybe Tarantino?
How about another director or writer you know and like?

@rinkydinkydoink sounds like a different question. I can't personally think of someone.
@samueltyler2

And a better question... even though Hitchcock directed a comedy - Mr. & Mrs. Smith (1941) - his movies are mostly old-style suspense.

There’d be a lot of N words if Tarantino did it, even though I don’t use that word.
@AthrillatheHunt

True. I don't think it's possible to either not love his movies or downright hate his movies. There's no in-between. Plus, I think he's retired or close to it...

The material is there, esp if Quentin directs
