@rinkydinkydoink Young Creighton was sadly thrown into comparisons to his famous Father...something he nor anyone else could have lived up to. Then his Father divorced from his Mother. Sr. told his son that his mom was dead, which was a big lie. What parent does that to their child?
In any case, resentment, and the desire to live up to his father's image drive him to the bottle, impacting his career, even during his hey day.

I don't have that particular station. Oh well.

The Redux of Apocalypse Now is quite long, but in its original format it may be my favorite.

Kurtz himself perhaps nudged me toward my chosen career path in psychology.

Saw it at a Mugs& Movies while in high-school. A theater showing older films along with the option of alcohol.

Heat immediately came to mind. Movie is awesome as it is but with more time they could have done more with Val Kilmer and Tom Sizemore's characters.
@SpectralMourning

I've not yet seen this - but what a cast 👍

@rinkydinkydoink Even Lieutenant Columbo played a minor role, as a cab driver!
@helenS

Yep... and stole every scene he was in just like Columbo did!
