Trilogy of Terror The scene where the little tiki monster dude is swiping the knife back and forth under the bathroom door trying to get to the lady freaked me out. Who remembers this movie? You are showing your age if you do!
As a wee boy, Salem's Lot (1979) scared me probably the worst and left the worst horror PTSD, of anything else I saw under the age of 7. The floating makeup boy as my mother would call them and the multiple Barlow scenes.
A good 2nd would be A Company of Wolves. My dad took us in the theater when it released. He probably figured it was ok, cause it's based off of Little Red Riding Hood.
@Thrust Yeah there was two more remakes. The first one was releashed in 2004 with Rob Lowe as Mears. The 2nd one, came out last year. It was very disappointing.
@Levenrack My mom took me to the movies to see Jaws when I was 3. People were telling her how horrible she was for taking me. Her response was that I'd fall asleep. I did, but I woke up to the scene of the captain's mangled head in the water. Thanks mom. 😑
Theres 2 movies the first is SQUIRM i'm afraid of worms right now until this day because of this movie
The second movie i cant think of the name of it. But something got into the water and was causing people to go crazy the cows and chickens drank it and when people ate them they started bugging out 🤣
@AngelUnforgiven Never seen that one. I guess I'll add your two to the list. 🫣 Actually I just saw that Good Boy is on AMC+, I'll probably watch that tonight.
Oddly enough it wasn't a horror movie that scared me... it was the scene from Picnic (1955) where this old maid school teacher tore into Bill Holden for having a good time dancing with Kim Novak.
I remember that one. This came out a few years later, when I was in college. Big names and newbies of the time; Kirk Douglas, John Cassavetes, Andrew Stevens and Amy Irving. It gave me nightmares. [media=https://youtu.be/7Q1wI23U3W0]
