When people are drinking takeaway coffee on TV and in movies

Almost 100% of the time the cup is empty.
A giveaway is the hollow sound when the cup is placed on a solid surface.
Fooling no one.
Yeah, I know, frivolous observation/post, but 🤷🏻‍♂

The downside of having worked in the film industry is noticing all the errors and lazy set dressing.

One of my pet peeves is seeing a three quarter inch gap at door thresholds. Like, the set lighting is shining through and it's a night scene!

And tell me where you get coffee that isn't so hot when you get it that it wouldn't scald your mouth during that first long pull?
Film industry? @Carla

I've noticed that! And many times, a baby is a doll!!

@Coralmist Yes, doll babies are the default in many shows/movies

I have noticed this recently in a lot lately.
No, it's a clever observation. 😊

It wouldn't be acting otherwise, but just once, I'd like to see someone 'pretend' to burn their hand off the cup, like in real life.

Or it’s water or milk
