Your opinions or lack thereof, of Dark Crystal prequel series (2019)

Is Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance worth watching? When I first saw this pop up years back, I was so excited to watch this. Big fan as I grew up with the movie.
As it comes closer to release, more and more I lose interest. (same thing happened with Willow, but I did watch that when it released)
I think I was hesitant that it would ruin the magic of the memories I grew up on, like with Secret of Nymn, Neverending Story, and Troll. (Yep even Troll)
I didn't read any of the reviews, but I see they're more favorable than not.
Is the series, worthy of a gander?

I've seen the original Dark Crystal movie on VHS and still have a copy of it in my personal collection.

I liked it. My only complaint is that they canceled it. Brian Henson and the Frouds made an amazing prequel.
