Anybody else watch horribly bad movies, to make themselves feel better when they're really really down?

No, lol. I only ever watch movies for enjoyment. If I ever watch an objectively bad film, it's because it's so bad, it's good.

No but my hub watches all those murder crime shows.. there was this one lady who killed her husband and then cleaned her house and did her laundry so whenever i did neither i’m like well at least i didn't kill my husband (even tho my house is messy and i didn't do laundry or dishes) 😅😏 he’s still alive complaining about it all ☺

I love watching bad sci-fi movies from the 1950s. My favorite lately is The Giant Claw (1957). And anything by Ed Wood.

MST3K and Rifftrax used to be my jam.

I recommend Sleep Tight. No gore, only one scene with blood, so squeamish people can watch it too.

As much as I hate Steven Seagal, his movies are so bad they become hilarious.

For a real hoot, try “Attack Force”. Half the film is very poorly overdubbed because of production issues, giving Seagal an incredibly bad southern accent in the second half.

Hate to admit that horribly bad movies are comfort movies for me. The Cave comes to mind. Just rewatched that one recently and it’s still as awful as I remember 😂. But I love the damn thing.
