Why do people rush to take off each others clothes in movies?

I agree that there’s an art to unpeeling a desirable package…letting the anticipation build with each layer discarded as the vulnerability and desires grows. But sometimes the buildup is already at the all consuming level so all you’re concerned with is being connected on that highly intimate level as quickly as possible. You don’t care about the tease or the show to be had. You’re there. They’re there. And at that point there’s only one place you want to be together. It just makes sense for some scenes, especially if there’s been a lot of “will they or won’t they”.

I can't speak from experience, but I bet the journey is better than the destination, or at the very least equally good. It would be a shame to skip over half the experience.

I always enjoyed unwrapping the package when we were dating. There were not as many layers to go through after we married, but it was still fun to take my time in getting to the goods.

It's Hollywood. Time constraints. There have been cases where everyone was told to leave the set because that love scene became oh so physically real. Nothing beats saying to hell with acting let's do this.

filming budget and other constraints! things to consider

1) how much are you actors and extras per hour?
2) is this scene take 1 or take 25?
3) How long before he audience thing "Ok i got it " and starts to zone out
4) How else can they hide that in take 3 Steve accidently tore bottom button off his shirt
5) the build up you were looking for is in the not-used pre edits that got edited out for the above reasons
