PS I’m glad that your experience is contrary to my explanation. I don’t think I would say that I have any first hand experience but I did notice in Ireland 🇮🇪 that some locals were not excited to see bus loads of tourists but I live in a touristy area currently and I see plenty of locals who have some opinions about why they don’t like tourists. I believe that much like in Hawaii among other places you have to take the good stuff with the bad when it comes to visitors. I actually enjoy it when I get to interact with people who chose to visit the area I live in. And I have had good experiences myself in my own travels.

@legalboxers Netflix is pretty much global. I noticed that I end up watching content that was originally from a different part of the planet and has been adapted for North America through over dubbing English and subtitles at the very least.
