Any suggestions please?

Being fond crime investigation series, I loved watching the following series:
-Chief Inspector Morse
-A touch of Frost
-Poirot
-Colombo
I will appreciate to receive any suggestions to add to my watch list.

[i]Inspector Morse, A Touch of Frost[/i], and [i]Columbo[/i] are three of my all-time favorite detective series. Didn't care that much for [i]Poirot[/i].

Since you're a fan of [i]Morse[/i], you might be interested in the prequel series, [i]Endeavour[/i] (2012-2023), and the spin-off series, [i]Lewis[/i] (2006-2015), which features Morse's former colleague, Robbie Lewis. I've seen both series and I highly recommend them.

@Rutterman Thank you so much for suggestions. yes I am a big fan of Inspector Morse. Nevertheless, Lewis was a role not less in its own way. I will definitely look up for the suggested ones.

I'm sure you've already seen then but Sherlock Holmes played by Jeremy Brett. There are many great performance of Holmes but Brett is the master.
Taggart (the Glaswegian detective famous for saying the word 'murder').

@Solitude1 Colombo is very good but it's not really a mystery. 95% of the time, you know who did it, it's all about how to catch them. Nevertheless it's one of the all time greats.

Miss Marple and Midsomer Murders are more like Poirot. You won't know who did until the end.

@Justice4All Thanks for the analysis. Yes you are right. However, I liked the way Peter Falk acted in Colombo. I will look up for your suggestions. I think Chief Inspector Morse has been a very good series.
