Back in '08, I went to the cinema with a friend of mine to see "Kingdom of the Crystal Skull" and purely out of curiosity. Many of you know how it is, going to see a new movie, especially if it's a long-awaited sequel to a film released 20-some-odd years prior and you're asking yourself "Is it gonna be good?" "Is it gonna be okay?" "Or is it gonna suck?" Now whatever your answer to that may be, there is one thing for certain I'm certain we can all agree upon... That it'll have you leaving the cinema different from when you came in. But I digress... In my opinion, "Kingdom of the Crystal Skull" was one of those films that was just... Okay. On the plus column, it was great seeing Harrison Ford reprising the role of Indiana Jones and Karen Allen reprising the role of Marion. However, the plot of the film... Well let's just say it left something to be desired. Final verdict: 1 1/2 stars out of a five star rating. Now this forthcoming sequel, "The Dial of Destiny," I have yet to see before I can offer my final verdict. As a film buff, I wouldn't want to prejudice a film without seeing it first.
