Didn’t care for the Daredevil, and it’s not considered part of the MCU. The marvel movies under Disney have all been too childish to bother with. The series imported from Netflix, were far better.
SarahTheHooker · 26-30, F
@DocSavage The Daredevil series on Netflix was fantastic, especially the first couple of series....and, as for Jessica Jones....I don't think, with the exception of WandaVision, I have seen such a gripping first series. One of the best series ever.

@SoulAsylum Some comic book movies are ok. BATMAN (1967) with Adam West as Batman and Burt Ward as Robin is nice – as a movie for children.
But adults watching a "modern" BATMAN movie – now that's really depressing.
Ferric67 · M
Titanic might be tops on this list.
hunkalove · 61-69, M
@Ferric67 i didn’t even get 20 minutes into it.
cloud83 · 36-40, M

wonkywinky · 51-55, M
@SlippingAway Yes very preachy in fact.I found it like an allegory for the Red Indians.Native people being overrun by big companies etc.
Dan193 · 31-35, M
@wonkywinky they were kinda depicted like the indians too

@TryingtoLava i absolutely love the kill bill films!! 😀

@thepreposterouspanda get out! that was in no way overratted
Mikeawesome1986 · 36-40, M
Lord of the Rings. It was hours of characters walking and talking. Dry acting, silly creatures and awful dialogue. Then they made 2 more of the things, and then spin-offs and now a TV programme.
wonkywinky · 51-55, M
@Mikeawesome1986 Never saw any of those.I tried reading the book,i got about 3 pages in and binned it..
wonkywinky · 51-55, M
All the Daniel Craig Bonds.
He sent me to sleep,no screen presence, hes not big enough to be Bond.Im taller than him,i felt i could fight him myself.
People rave over him,but im glad hes quit finally.
Mikeawesome1986 · 36-40, M
@wonkywinky Oh yeah, it was a dreadful film, but his performance was spot on.

I think Dalton could have continued.

Lazemby however, something about him just never sat right with me. Only one film, maybe that's a good thing.
wonkywinky · 51-55, M
@Mikeawesome1986 Hmmm if youve read OHMSS the film is actually quite similar to the book.
Mikeawesome1986 · 36-40, M
@wonkywinky it's not the film, it's him really. He doesn't come across as someone who can save the world.
SarahTheHooker · 26-30, F
Not really a fan of the 'Twilight' series....vastly overrated, likewise 'Harry Potter'.....

Underrated? I'll pop up the last trilogy of 'Planet Of The Apes'....I don't understand how they weren't talked about much more than they did.

@Tastyfrzz Oh, 'Prey' is fantastic - I had a 'Watch Party' with my bestie....turns out we were both planning to watch it in our own homes around the same time!

Tastyfrzz · 61-69, M
@SarahTheHooker did you notice writing on the gun was the same as the gun in alien vs predator? That means there's another movie yet to come.
SarahTheHooker · 26-30, F
@Tastyfrzz The date? Yes. I read an interview with the producer or director who said that that was the starting point for the movie...

☺️

wonkywinky · 51-55, M

And just about every movie Jim Carrey stars in.

Gone With The Wind
Titanic
Most any “comedy” with Jim Carrey, Chris Farley
wonkywinky · 51-55, M
@helenS Gone with the wind is a classic, its not my favourite movie but its not so bad.
@wonkywinky If you support slavery, absofreakinlutely.
Bye, now.
helenS · 36-40, F
@wonkywinky African-Americans have protested against it from the start in 1939, even if white America didn’t want to hear it. And the battle is still going on. To me it's essentially a documentation of racial stereotypes of the time when the movie was made.
My apologies to all people on SW who happen to be dark-skinned, but I think I should illustrate my point with a picture from the movie:

LaLa Land

lol sorry but it just didn’t burn my memory like I thought it would have and I love all the actors in it just didn’t think it was all that lol 🧐
