Do you watch the news?

It's kinda hard because I almost never watch tv and the algorithms on my socials don't have much news stuff on it,

But I've been using the brave web browser lately and that has a news feed every time you open a new tab... Which is helpful for someone like me who sucks at keeping up to date😅

about once a week i read political news and a little about what's going on here & in other countries, sometimes watch clips of various discussions from politicians and journalists. and i like to watch documentaries. i'm careful to look at more than one news source regularly. i used to look at news more but it's too difficult knowing that i can't change anything except my vote. it's pretty disgusting what is happening, real lives being blown away in the blink of an eye, and worse, some tortured beyond comprehension. so i limit my news these days to just once a week or so. i feel like i should be doing more, getting involved somehow in the solutions. ppl need help. and some ppl have no choice but to be at the front lines of destruction every day and fight it.

I don't watch the news, either.
And I have to often remind myself of my truth, so I don't get drawn into what other people are telling me.

"No news is good news," is true.
The news that's reported and the way it's reported, keeps people in a state of fear and panic.

I'm not falling for it.

I pay attention to local news headlines. I like to broadly know what's going on in my area. But I don't watch TV news or regularly read news articles.

I often watch the news, it's good to be able to get information about what's going on.

My husband watches it but i consider it half propaganda and misdirection 😒

nope, between the constant diasters and the political bs, I gave up on it Years ago

I broadly keep up but don't fixate because the world falling apart ain't fun to bear witness to.

I get my news filtered through podcast commentary. And I discuss news on sites like SW.

I listen to the news on the radio or check it online every day. I rarely watch it on tv

No. Ive long felt 6 o'clock news hour to be negative. I read news, or listen to it on the radio.

Only if something Big happened. Other than that is mostly theater or nothing new

Naw, I watch certain youtube channels that give me updates on the financial sectors but I don't care much for actual news station. They are too negative and biased
