@cherokeepatti It absolutely is! Leftists. If you don't share their view, you're bad. You need to be converted. Maybe a large star on your shirt to indicate you aren't complying. You need re-education. Perhaps we can build special facilities for that purpose.

I don't wear a mask unless an individual business requests that I do if I want to enter their establishment. I then choose to either comply, or take my business elsewhere. Generally I cross them off my list of places I'll do business with.
I must confess however, I get a kick out of seeing people walking down the road, no one nearby, and they're wearing a mask. Or to see them driving along in their vehicle all masked up. Might as well wear a tin foil cone on their head too.

Last time this virus hit, I could not even buy surgical masks, (which are useless), and I was only able to buy cloth masks on Etsy, and cloth mask are also useless. The cloth masks I bought were funny and cute, but they were made by stupid crafts people who didn't care that you need to BREATHE, and were made of polyester. NO breathing possible.
It sucks to wear a mask which you know to be absolutely useless. The ONLY protection it could possibly provide for others would be against the LARGE droplets of coughs and sneezes, and even those will blow backward through the side gaps in most masks.
The virus is so tiny that if you imagine the weave of your mask as the diamond openings of a chain link fence, the virus would be the size of gnat flying right through.
I DO see one awesome purpose in government agencies FORCING people to wear masks in public. It makes the real idiots believe that they are either protected or protecting others, therefore it stopped the mass panic that would have otherwise ensued.

@CopperCicada I did say that, I believe...the large droplets bit. During the pandemic, as you many or may not know, MOST people who were not in the medical field could not obtain N95 masks, which are actually effective.
They were not even available to most medical personnel. I just bought myself a box of the N95's, and if there is any further nonsense, at least I can go grocery shopping.
I did find out, from a physical therapist who is a nurse at a local hospital, that KN95 masks work pretty well, combined with gloves and paper gowns. She said that as long as the nurses changed and discarded all of the above after dealing with EACH covid patient, they NEVER got sick.
