@lonelyloner Yes and I really enjoyed both seasons of The Punisher.

@ChipmunkErnie I love that movie. I am much more impressed with special effects done in the days of limited technology than I am with digital wizardry which is so painless to implement. King Kong was a blend of "claymation" (using a flexible miniature figure) and animation (for facial expressions), and I think it was done beautifully.

@DrWatson Technically not "Claymation" -- that's Gumby and Wallace and Gromitt -- but stop motion animation by animation pioneer Willis O'Brien, use of painted mats, etc. I love the story that O'Brien was really pissed because you could see Kong's fur moving from his finger-pressure when he moved the model, he thought it was a terrible mistake. Then the studio execs saw thew footage and complimented him on how the bristling of the fur made King look so much more alive!

@Montanaman Yes, very sad too. Horrible tragedy of how the Osage Nation was treated after maintaining the Mineral Rights on their land where oil was discovered. Brutal story, hard to watch.
