Seriously, they should stick to costume dramas, police procedurals and farces.

Some can be tedious. Some can be brilliant. I found Tinker Taylor Soldier Spy so boring I did not finish watching it.

@Gusman Yeah, the John LeCarre stuff is the exception.

Those are more "spy procedurals", though.
