The key to being wealthy is using other people’s money.

If I were her I would take care of all the fees myself , oh well selfish bitch.
TheSeptikSkeptik · 46-50, M
@Dateless Oh I see your problem now. You're just an idiot or a troll. Okay, carry on then.
Dateless · 31-35, M
oh when you don’t agree with someone they’re a idiot and or troll? Makes a lot of sense@TheSeptikSkeptik
TheSeptikSkeptik · 46-50, M
@Dateless No, they're just stupid and should shut up, right? Do you have brain damage by chance? Because that is exactly what you had done to me in the first place. So it seems kind of hypocritical to say that to somebody after doing exactly that to them. Did I say that I disagreed with you? No, you just implied that. My reply was in response to your reply. Notice how I did not make any implications to your reply on my post? It's because I'm honest enough to know that I can't possibly know somebody else's motivations for their actions. After looking at your comment though, it's still justified. I called you an idiot or a troll because you have demonstrated such by definition of the words.

How do you know that the Gofundme is going to help her in any way to become wealthy or stay wealthy? Your comment doesn't even make sense in this context at all. How on earth would you even get to that conclusion? A lot of logical leaps there. How do you know that she didn't already donate to the family? Are her cousin's immediate family going to get wealthy from a GoFundMe? Doubtful. So your comment has no relevance to the situation. Also, using other people's money is called investing. Unless the person using other people's money is a con artist engaged in a ponzi scheme, investors get their money back, a stake in the company, or whatever deal was made and they also tend to understand the market risk before willingly giving people money. Again, unless the person is running a confidence scam, people just don't willingly allow others to just use their money. Hedge funds, corporate welfare, multi-level marketing? Can you even specify your statement or was it meant to be extremely vague so that other users can apply their own meanings?

You would pay the whole thing? Judging by your attitude, lazy rebuttals, self imposed perception of others and complete lack of nuanced thinking, I very much doubt that. She's a "selfish bitch?" Asserting to know somebody's motivations or intentions yet again with a minute amount of information says a whole lot about your epistemology. Assuming somebody's intentions and motivations, ad hominem, and argument from incredulity.

Why should she be financially responsible for her cousin's funeral costs? There isn't really enough information provided to come to any conclusions about the type of person she is. How do you know that she didn't already donate? Maybe her family asked her to promote the GoFundMe since she has a large audience?

Let me set one thing straight right now that I see a lot of people holding misconceptions over. She may be a multi-millionaire and worth lots of money, but she may not have immediate access to funds and a lot of it may be tied up in assets. I'm worth well over two million dollars but that money is tied up in properties, investments and my business. I have zero dollars in my wallet right now and about six hundred dollars currently in my bank account. Just because somebody is worth 'x' amount, does not mean that they can produce even a fraction of their worth in any kind of cash amount at any given time.

@Dateless Do you take issue with something I had said? Did I offend you somehow? What is your problem? "Shut up stupid" tells me nothing and if I had made a mistake, I certainly want to correct it.
TheSeptikSkeptik · 46-50, M
Oh when you don’t agree with someone you should just call them stupid and tell them to shut up? Makes a lot of sense.@Dateless Seriously, do you even think before you type?
Dateless · 31-35, M
Got arguement?@TheSeptikSkeptik

No, I would just chuckle and move along

They never donate out of their pocket
5thApprentice · 31-35, M
I'd find it a bit weird but maybe there's more to things than what we see on surface.
Prettybrat · 26-30, F
Maybe she's secretly broke or just doesn't want to use her money
MrBrownstone · 46-50, M
No. I ignore all charities.
Oh thats really weird.
21stCenturyFox · 26-30, F
Yes. Cheap bastard!
I’d wonder if she was as wealthy as people think she is other than on paper. Her money may be tied up in debts.
basilfawlty89 · 31-35, M
@bijouxbroussard Valid point.
I think this may very well be the case. Entertainers have many incentives to inflate their networth, especially for negotiating purposes. At least I hope this is the case...@bijouxbroussard

Nah, people can donate and set up what they like as long as they're harming no one.
