"How DARE you like/love me!!"
Basically reminds me of my relationship with my abusive ex. You end up hurting yourself by loving someone who is relentlessly toxic and dysfunctional, and until you abandon them you will be punished every time you abandon yourself and your needs/sanity for theirs.
Anyway, anyone who makes you feel that way is very toxic. Romantic, family, friend, doesn't matter. Not worth it.
It is so painful to let go, but it hurts more to hold onto what is killing you.
I hope you feel better.
I have been in some severely traumatic situations and something that helped me immensely if it is legal where you live was ketamine treatment.
Either way you decide to proceed I hope you take care of yourself. Trauma has to be taken seriously or it festers as badly as any physical disease. It can even create physical disease in the body.
All the best.

@GeistInTheMachine sadly it is ME feeling this way..the shame around someone caring for me seems to spotlight to me everything wrong with who i am

@GeistInTheMachine thank you for this kind message btw..i can tell you put a lot of thought and feeling into it

@GeistInTheMachine also..i want to be clear that i am not toxic about it like you mentioned your ex being. I just cry to myself and try not to burden anyone.

@foldedunfolding Well, that's a different dynamic. It isn't as though you are mistreating someone for caring.
I think it could help to meditate on the fact of Christ's love for you. So that you can internalize a sense of your worthiness of love as a person and child of God.
I too struggle with feeling worthy of love. For me it's a wound that stems from abuse I have suffered at the hands of people I loved and trusted like family and so on.
What's helped at times has been reflecting on the love Christ and the Divine has for me.
I remember visiting a church once, and it was a really good sermon where the pastor said that when Jesus was on the cross, He had us in mind as individuals, that when He was martyred, He did so on our behalf out of love for each of us as individuals, and not out of obligation.
Seeing as you're a believer, you're Anointed in Christ, and you are worthy of love.
If Jesus himself sees something in you that was worth coming down to Earth and literally dying for, how can you not be worthy?
At the end of the day, we are beings of Light and a part of the Most High God.
God is Love and you belong to Him, so by default you are worthy of love. It's without question.

@foldedunfolding Satan and the archons that rule this world have always been liars. They want you to think you are weak, alone, and unworthy, but you are not.
The dark forces are powerful, many and oppressive, but the light is stronger.
When you command the minions of darkness to leave in the name of Jesus Christ, they do. I have experienced this first hand.
They like to target us through our pain and weaknesses. So it is important to lean on Jesus and reclaim your power, so you can assert your personal God-given sovereignty against dark powers.
Ask Jesus to protect you from spiritual attack, and He will help you cast darkness out of your life.
