He's my calm

I got stuck this morning. My doctor changed my thyroid medication and the pill is a different size and color and it freaked me out and I struggled to take it. Thank goodness Joel is so kind patient and understanding with me. He was able to calm me down and get me to take the pill.

I hate days like this when my OCD gets so bad I can't control it. And get thrown off by something as simple as a different colored pill.

It seems like this that worry me the most one day he's going to grow tired of it I just know it..

I completely understand how something that seems small can feel overwhelming when OCD kicks in. You’re not alone in that at all. It’s amazing that Joel is so patient and supportive — that kind of love and understanding makes such a difference. Please don’t be hard on yourself for struggling. You’re doing your best, and that’s enough. 💛
@Cigarguy Oh friend, I can hear how hard this is for you, and I promise your trying is enough — even when it doesn’t feel like it. What you’re dealing with isn’t simple; it’s something your mind and body react to in ways you can’t just switch off. The fact that you still take the pill, still keep trying, still fight through those moments — that’s strength. And the people who truly love you, like Joel, see that. You won’t lose everything because of your struggles — you’re worth so much more than what your OCD tries to tell you. 🖤

@MyMonstersAreReal I just know one day he's going to want someone easier than me, he deserves that
@Cigarguy I don’t see that happening from the stories but I understand the fear.

See these scales? The HEAVY side is Joel's love for you.

The LIGHT side is your OCD and how it affects Joel.

Joel has problems just as you do...and you are ALWAYS there for him, providing him with physical assistance, love, and care. He loves you because he, and you, both have an issue or two...and you are both a LOT alike.

@4meAndyou you are right. I just get in my own head sometimes and over think things
