I know the feeling. When you become so used to your life revolving around work, and then you don't have that job anymore, you feel a little bit lost trying to find ways to fill the time.

The first few days are amazing because you get to relax or catch up on stuff, but then you reach a point where you realize you're not used to having this much free time.

I try to be productive in the absence of work, but at some point the productivity just feels forced and you need something a lot more stable to look forward to. Work sucks a lot of times, but at the very least it does provide you stability

To add what @TinyViolins said I wouldn't change your sleep schedule at all. If u get up at like 5am I would still get up. I would go for a nice bike ride or a run or go to the gym. I like to watch the sun rise while I run on a treadmill or go for a swim if u have access to a swimming pool

The last time I had a real job was in 2010. To say I'm losing my mind is an understatement. 馃槀

馃......That would not apply to me for where I work.......I hate going to work at all............

I started my own company on the side so when I retire or if I get laid off I'll have some purpose. 61 years old so it's a coming. I would like lore time for some things. The pandemic was good for that. Being alone kind of sucked but there wasn't too much different than normal life. Just no driving. What were you doing before you started your sabbatical?

Why u been off for a month

No such thing for me. The only reason I need to work is money. If I had money but no work, I would have so many projects started. Projects that I enjoy and can do leisurely and don't have pressure or deadlines.
