My depression always spikes around this time of year

The only thing more exhausting than being depressed is pretending that you're not

We all need someone to lean on from time to time. Find those people and don't be ashamed.

Take vitamin D

You'd be surprised how we are powered by the sun. The winter is a tough time
Pretzel · 61-69, M
how are you feeling now?
It could be more than just Christmas. You could be light sensitive and there's the least amount of sunlight this time of year. SO, light sensitive and then you built on top of that.

Sorry, I missed your reply because I deleted my comment in case it made you feel worse. Apologies

I’m sorry you’re struggling with that. It’s a hard time of year for sure! ❤️
CallieTG · T
It's common time for alot of people to struggle this time of year.

What do you have to be depressed about?
MarkPaul · 26-30, M
@Batman The VERY worst thing you can say to someone who is feeling depressed.
Rumboltz · 41-45, M
It sucks. I can't drink, I can't smoke weed.
MarkPaul · 26-30, M
Same. It's definitely a common seasonal thing.

@Richard65 it's a lot off different things but that is definitely a factor
Richard65 · M
@SP00kY I'm sorry you feel like that, especially at a time that's supposed to be fun. But I suppose that's exactly the problem - having to pretend you're okay. Is there nobody there you can share your true feelings with?
