I Battle Depression

i m not depressed but i read an article about curing depression. some of the tips to battle against it are to get out of home and do something so that there would be some progress, or at least a sense of it because once you get used to the comfortable feeling of not progressing it s easy to sink forever; to get up early, go outside to get some sunlight, because otherwise the feeling of losing the best part of the day and the coming of night too quickly would lead to depressive feelings; to move on, dress up nicely, eat something nice, meet some nice people, live onwards as usual, the bad days will pass while you forget to bother.

the 2nd tip above was the drive for me to get up early on a sunday morning to go to church today.

Makes sense but those who are depressed have a difficult times getting up and doing these things.

probably they are for tackling early symptoms of depression.

That might be. I think everyone has experienced some level of depression in our lives.

We watch our parents argue as children or divorce, death or loss of a loved one, or even something simple as moving to another city can cause minor depression.

I guess knowing the symptoms is what's important. Who knows, you and I could be depressed as I write this. 😫

@OWTFWN: Good to know, I guess I'm not depressed. I'm none of the above.

I'll be sad though if the Seahawks lose.
