Yes these are things I need to be doing but I'm barely functional at this point. My hair is in knots and falling out in clumps... I barely move
YourFriend4ever · 26-30, F
@WrngWlf Trying is the hardest part.
Start from small.
Make todo list for small accomplishments or record your little accomplishments on a personal diary each day before sleeping and look forward for tomorrow.

Like i woke up, had a glass of water ✔️
I got out of bed at 8am✔️
I went outside, saw sun and morning light for 5 minutes ✔️
I made effort to cook healthy breakfast/lunch/dinner✔️
I prayed today ✔️
I read this much pages of a book today and learnt this✔️
I went for a 5 min walk today✔️

Just small small things like that.
WrngWlf · 46-50, F
@YourFriend4ever that's my plan. I'm going to bed in a few 2am so I'm going to shoot to be up by 11 am tomorrow. All my laundry is dirty so wash laundry and shower are my goals for tomorrow
YourFriend4ever · 26-30, F
@WrngWlf Yes and be easy on yourself.
No need to do the whole laundry in one day.
Keep some days fixed for laundry so you're not overburdened, if possible ask for help also.

If you don't take shower everyday.
Take it in alternate days, you can even start with two days a week!

No one is running behind you with a stick. Love yourself, be gentle with your beautiful soul.
You're so so precious.
God bless you always

I wish my friends live closer. I relocated and never met any. Perhaps, I'm anti-social.

Depression happens because people focus on the pain. Pain kills when sanity ebbs away.

Live happy by doing enjoyable things, that could make life bearable.
Depression happens because pain is heavier than happiness. One can become exhausted and sick from stress and sadness or anger and resentment. @1Dogma

Sometimes depression comes into your life very silently. You hardly realize that it has been with you for quite a long time.

@ABCDEF7 Yeah true, it goes out of your life unpredictably.
ABCDEF7 · M
@SW-User Yeah, just keep moving in the right direction and one day you'll realise that you no longer have depression.

@ABCDEF7 👍🏻
redredred · M
physical exhaustion gained by meaningful, productive work such as gardening, bricklaying, carpentry, clearing up a mess of litter etc. can leave little room for the depression cycle.
ABCDEF7 · M
@redredred You are right, I have included it in the post.

Thanks 🙂

@antonioio a lot easier said than done but I know it takes work to be a better you. I'm still on that journey but I appreciate you spreading that knowledge 💓

I would like to add that Tulsi drops, which are made from an herb, and vitamin D3, sunshine and walking also help. The tulsi is a very mild antidepressant, and an immunity booster. D3 helps people who don't go outside enough or bask in the sunlight, and of course, sunshine gives us vitamin D3 for free.
WrngWlf · 46-50, F
@4meAndyou my body will not absorb the vitamin D3 from the sun. I have to take supplements daily
4meAndyou · F
@WrngWlf I take them daily, too.
ABCDEF7 · M
@4meAndyou Thankyou :)

Added your suggestions.

A very good post...

Well most of my friends dont want to hang out with me for some reason. Plus because of the pandemic it's not safe to go anywhere. This has been happening long before the pandemic though 😔. I know this was written in 2018 though
ABCDEF7 · M
@texasborn89 Please take care of your diet and routine. Include exercises, yoga, meditation, reading, learning that you enjoy. Take care..

Best Wishes 🙂

Meditation helps me a lot too!
ABCDEF7 · M
@YourFriend4ever It's really good if you can meditate, because many can't.
