It's been my general experience that insane people don't really worry if they're crazy. So just by questioning it, I'd say you're not. But what do I know 🤷

@hyg346 I know people who have been hospitalized in psychiatric wards. They are painfully aware of their mental illness.

If you become manic, may I ask if you also have periods of deep depression? Swinging back between one state and the other over a period of time?

One extreme to another and it don't have to be about feelings and emotions. It can be acting out on other things 😊

@riseofthemachine Well, if YOU were to experience extreme manic episodes, where you just can't slow down or just can't stop doing something and if it lasts for a day or a week or more...and then you were to swing over into a deep depression where you had trouble functioning or getting out of bed, then I might be tempted to say you were bi-polar. But only a mental health professional could tell you for sure.
