48 hour of no sleep

I have slept in two days. I'm so tired but every time I try and fall asleep my mind goes crazy. Did you do this, did you clean that, did you check on the hamster. Over and over. I can't keep this up I need sleep

L-theanine. You sound like you might have ADHD. That would help, even if you don't. Drink green tea! Chamomile tea would be great as well. I wouldn't take any of these drugs the doctor's hand out. You can get L-theanine from tea, which is natural and it won't hurt you or make your heart race. It will calm you down so you can rest. You want something that just doesn't treat the symptoms, but resolves them. Some of the side effects from these drugs are worse than the drug itself. I love how they say they're helping you but the side effects say "could cause brain damage, tremors or death." 😂

@LadyGrace Good point. He definitely needs to see a doctor though.
@Straylight I agree with you on that, but the problem with that is that most doctors want to pump you with drugs, instead of giving you something natural. Drugs have a million side effects and you end up being worse off than the original problem and then you have to deal with how to treat those. It's crazy.

@LadyGrace I do have ADHD as well as OCD. I do see a doctor but your right alot of time they just load me up with sleeping pills that make me feel horrible the next day. I'm dizzy, tired, nauseous. Please with young kids in the house I don't like to be that drugged up. I had one doctor say do you want to sleep or worry about your kids and stay up all night. I no longer see what doctor.
@Cigarguy101 Well friend, that's the great thing about l-theanine.This non-essential amino acid works through GABA and alpha waves to both relax mood without feeling sleepy and improve cognitive function. I doubt your doctor will tell you that though because they want to make that money, you know. L-theanine also works for OCD. I did a thorough research on this.

@LadyGrace I will definitely look into that
