Does this sound like the behaviour of a people pleaser?

Sometimes, I feel as though everything I do, is all to win the approval of other people, be it friends, family, or others.
I'm always walking in your shoes.
And I've been loosing myself every day since .
If seen from another angle, there is no point working or doing stuff when most involved ain't satisfied.
There is contentment when smiles prevail, whether due to a little decision taken or a recipe made or a bonus given.
That feeling is just not people pleasing for sure.

Actually, people pleasing only occurs when one has only self as the pivot. Always.

There lies the difference.

Yes. You won’t be guaranteed happiness if you are not a people pleaser, but I can say with certainty that being a people pleaser will guarantee you’ll never find happiness. You erode your sense of self worth by doing so. Please yourself. Help others if, and when you can, and be true to yourself.
Do you ever please yourself?
