Yep, being kind doesn't mean you can't set boundaries with people. In fact, not setting them means you aren't being kind to yourself.

Of course you can, @Queendragonfly. I replied in a not at all serious way, in response to what I thought was meant by "or as a phony". I may have been wrong about how I perceived the comment I replied to, but my reply was sarcasm.
