I would try and avoid purchasing anything from the epstein class. Difficult but doable
@gol979 More than 1/3 of all farmland is owned by corporations. Community buy and sell only works if you want other peoples' overpriced used items. The Internet is corp, almost entirely. Sometimes it looks like a seller, but it's often someone just working for a corp.

I understand what you want to believe exists. Hell, I wish it did too. Unfortunately, it doesn't though. Those days are long, long gone.

@Magicianzini and the other 2/3 of farmland is.......

And i know it exists because i and many others purchase goods and services supplied by the local community
@gol979 In the process of being taken, mostly. They are consistently increasing land taxes and many are, as we speak, in the process of having to sell. If we're all lucky, we may end up with 10 - 15 % of farmland being owned by individuals.

Also, the minority of products you buy, I guess one can say "helps" .. but it's still not a viable reality. You and I both know the majority of items you have to buy are produced by large corporations. It's just the way it's set up. It's nothing personal to you. It's the same for all of us.

Continue with your drop in the bucket though because as I stated, it "helps".

I already boycott as much American stuff as I can and try to purchase purely Canadian from companies that don't support the US or formulate their products using US products

It's not that difficult, but I do run a Farmers' Market so I can get almost everything there

The TDS is strong with some of these people. Including the foreign ones.
