Mental Health Support

I attend a weekly group for people with mental health problems , personality disorders and learning difficulties. Its hard for these groups of individuals to fit in with societal norms so having a safe space around others is invaluable.

Ive been attending for about a year now and its opened my eyes to the amount of people who suffer on a daily basis. I feel i benefit from attending , its helped with my confidence and self esteem.

That's great to hear .
Everyone suffers a bit from mental health .
I have a fierce social esteem problems being in groups . I'm quite by nature or shy and when I try to force myself in social events to do the opposite I end up getting wired in myself .
Is there a bit of depression there . I don't know .
If that helps you keep going there .
That's the whole point of life having connections, otherwise you craic up

That's great you have that group and it helps you. Although I know very little about BPD, confidence and self-esteem is a huge thing to have. They effect our lives so much.
@Elisbch You sound like you have experience with this.
It can be very lonely suffering from a rare disorder. Being able to share day to day experiences, problems and solutions aids in you feeling not so on your own in the world.
Good luck with your self worth, confidence and recovery.
I'm glad you found something that helps.
where is it, can i go
@deadinternet You would scare everyone away 😝
@SinlessOnslaught what, im sweet as apple pie
@deadinternet I won't argue with that. 😜

Are you limiting this to BPD or are there other conditions? PTSD, OCD, anxiety, depression, chemical abuse?
