I hate hugs

I have always hated hugs but totally avoiding them became akward at times so I stopped telling people that I hate hugs.
So today Im at the airport and I see a work colleague. I haven't seen her in a year because we work in different cities so she says " hey give me a hug before you go".
So I am feeling friendly and I like her so I try to give her a real hug my face gets slightly squished near her neck for a second making this like a kiss on her neck🙄🙄
How lame and weird. I hate hugs truly.

@NestChicken 😄actually far from it i am from the united kingdom actually . i do not like being touched i know it sound strange but never have since i was a kid . i do not mind hugs if i am upset or i am a very loving person and hate seeing people upset and hurt and will offer a hug too comfort and console them

@smiler2012 I had friends who were really touchy with me. I’m not going to detail how because I respect them. I tend to let my friends do what they want with me cause it’s just flesh. Most people though are respectful and don’t take advantage. I am also very touchy but only with close friends and the ones that are, drown in tlc. It can sometimes be too much for them.
