is it even worth dating when i am unable to be intimate?

maybe i should just accept that i'm not the type of person who can find love?

I don't think it's impossible but it's too much work and you have to be very careful about who you are dealing with. I mean, you need to sense who is going to respect your boundaries before getting too close to them.

I believe it IS worth dating yes..even if tou are unable to be intimate. Many may not be ok with it but many WILL 🤗 You still deserve affection and fun..so give it a go. The right person is out there spider🌷

I think just accept it, if that's what experience leads to your concluding, though it seems very early at that age to reach such a firm conclusion, I think.

@spider240 Being abused and having your trust broken hurts more, as does struggling to cope when you're in need of your own resources with little extra to spare when a lot extra is realistically needed for commitment, in my opinion.

@PhilDeep i'm sure that's true. but from the standpoint of a person who's touched staved and obsesses about having a relationship constantly i feel like i'd be happier if i at least could get to the point where i could be heartbroken. the grass is always greener on the other side right?

They are rare, but there are romantic asexual people out there. Just gotta let people know what the deal is up front and be prepared for it to be a difficult search. But it's not impossible.
