So did I, and wasn't allowed to express an opinion!
DavidT8899 · 22-25, M
@SunshineGirl And if I may ask,did the teachers go barefoot as well?

@SunshineGirl Ugh🙄,the usual double standard.If even part of the expressed reason for making you go barefoot was to protect the floor,then it's inexcusable that the teachers didn't do the same.What,were they wearing some sort of magic shoes that wouldn't leave marks?Plus,it would have just looked better for them to lead by example.

I don't recall being barefoot in both of the Infants' Schools I attended in two different counties (family move)*, and we all wore appropriate footwear for all Games and PE in the Primary School and L.E.A. Grammar.

.
*(I can't really remember what we did in Infants' School for "PE" but vaguely recollect using the BBC Schools broadcasts' Music and Movement, or similarly titled, on the wireless. These were simple, playful exercises to music.)

Why did you have to be barefoot?
DavidT8899 · 22-25, M
@Scribbles Trust me,bare feet is FAR more embarrassing than socks!
Scribbles · 36-40, F
@DavidT8899 if you say so.

To me, It's just feet, 🤷‍♀️ nothing to be embarrassed about.
