What Would You Do If You Went Out Of Town For a Few Days And Came Home To Find That Someone Had Gotten Inside Your House But Didn’t Take Anything?

The boy’s friend lives in a rural area and the family drove to another state for a couple days and came home to find their home filled with balloons. Nothing taken, they checked the whole house.
There might be a clown hiding in the attic

Sounds like a Stephen King novel. 😳We all float down here
Lol

@kodiac Thinking it was a friend or relative that did it for a prank. Nothing taken. But it would give a person a bad feeling if they hadn’t given their key to anyone else knowing someone knows how to enter the home. And helium is now a supply line issue. Dollar Tree had a sign up saying they couldn’t fill balloons because of it.
Ask the neighbors what kind of car came up the drive.

@UnderLockDown on a rural road and maybe the neighbors weren’t home when it happened…maybe they need to get a security cam
I want you
to get every thieving slag this side of Ceylon and torture them, badly.
I want to know who is responsible, otherwise I will hold you
responsible.

Reminds me of what we used to call a chiavari. When a couple were married and on their honeymoon the folks would break into their home and play some harmless pranks on them that they would discover when they got back.

@hippyjoe1955 We had a chivaree for my grandpa when he got remarried about a decade after Grandma died. My cousin went into the house and put rocked underneath the sheets and did some other things like soap their back windows before they came home. They already knew they were going to get a chivaree thrown for them so Grandpa had to go out and buy a box of cigars for the men and a case of chocolate bars for the women and children. It was fun.

That's creepy.

Everything around my house is recorded. And only three people know the code for the burglar alarm.

I would feel happy about it my daughter does party entertaining balloons & setups aren't cheap :) a few balloons and gift to home cost a pretty penny. I would think if nothing taken or destroyed I'd wonder if it was a prank? I'd change my locks though set up a camera security home systems are gr8.

Maybe they were going to have a surprise party.
cherokeepatti · 61-69, F
@Jeffrey53 Might have told them who did it. That’s breaking & entering if they did it without permission

@Stereoguy maybe he knew how to bump the lock or pick it. I don’t know how he knew how to relock it.
