I’m trying to become friends with myself rather than others lately.

I'm my own best friend but I'm still a jerk to me sometimes. So I have to forgive myself, which is invaluable. Then I change. I think that's the best part about it. You grow and understand yourself.

That's very difficult for many people to learn how to do. Very rewarding tho once you achieve it.
