I am Rude. Or so my new cleaning lady informed me.

She put my new pillow on the floor, and when I told her that I have severe asthma, and I don't want my pillow on the floor, she argued that she had just cleaned the floor, and where else was she supposed to put it? I pointed out the empty chair.

I reminded her that I have severe asthma, and am allergic to dust mites, and that I don't want my pillow on the floor, and told her that she is just not thinking.

She said, "That's REALLY RUDE!!!"

Then she said it is obvious that I am not happy with her, (ya' think?), and said she was going to ask to be reassigned.

This was after about an hour of NO work, and arguments when she first started this morning, because I mistakenly believed that when you are done mopping a floor there should not be food on it and it should actually LOOK clean.

I had to call her work to get clear about their policies, and apparently filthy floors are okay with them.

There is something really, really wrong somewhere.

It must be me.

It is near impossible to find people that want to work, most just want to pretend.

@UnderLockDown I've noticed that. It wouldn't be so awful except I have had substitute cleaners come in from the SAME company quite often, when my first cleaning lady used to call in sick, (which was frequently), and they did such an awesome job that I would call the company with tears in my eyes to thank them for sending me someone SO good!.

This one today wanted to argue about everything and definitely didn't want to work.
