@Longpatrol compare our urban crime rates w yours and you’re pretty darn safe from where most of us are sitting. Most people would give up freedoms for safety . That explains the huge number of people who want to live in Singapore .
If I were eighteen it might seem more inviting ...now people wit intractable pain sometimes are given pain killers that control the pain...I'm just wondering how medicine makes you happy but I guess it just keeps you healthy till H-hour🤐💀
@bookerdana medicine rarely makes one happy, but I've seen a handful of close family members or friends who would have given all their time left to not be in pain. My brother is there right now.
The pain they describe is not the "stubbed my toe" agony, but a grim marrow-deep torture night and day. When for the first time they are aware of every nerve in their body, and the nerves scream.

@Donotfolowme The question is inspired by those pharma ads that promise cures to obscure diseases and then they announce the fast fine print saying "may result in bla bla bla and may even cause death!"
@fun4us2b some people wanna live a short life but a quality life so they might not mind but they forget humans don't decide how and when they will die.
