I don’t celebrate any death, and that’s the truth. But I am curious to know who shot him in Utah. Someone who disagreed outright with his statements, or someone on his side who didn’t think he went far enough ? And it’s very ironic either way. 🤔
@bijouxbroussard I'm not really that aware of Charlie and what he has said in the past, but I've picked up a few reasons why some either don't care or are amused. I saw the video, I cannot celebrate that mess.
In most countries you can safely debate politics on a campus.
I wouldn’t do it in the US. Left or right, they’re all extremists. There’s no middle ground or compromise. Everyone thinks they’re fighting an evil. And add to that a gaudy fire arms culture and this is what happens.
@AdmiralPrune the number of guns in the society makes that difference. And we're not expecting honesty over root causes when you are wedded to the results of violence.

I don't even know who this guy is, or more appropriately was, on account of the fact that I haven't seen or heard his name being mentioned until now, without any knowledge of him beforehand and if it's someone that I never heard of then there's no way I can say anything about him, be it good or bad.
Kirk has said more than once that no amount of (school) schoolings is reason enough to ever end the 2nd Amendment. Ironically enough he was defending the right to own guns and use them as we please................when someone did just that and shot him. He advocated white supremacy. He hosted Neo-Nazi and White Supremacists to speak at his rallies. He advocated racism......DEI for blacks and said women belong in their place......take away their right to vote included. He said all "left wing radicals deserve to be eradicated in any way possible". He bragged he personally organized and paid for 80 buses to haul the J6 terrorists to the Capital. He said no one but Republicans belong in government and he was central in the vetting process at Mar-A-Lago of a making sure only one requirement was necessary for government hiring in trump's second term..........that all swear an allegiance oath of loyalty ONLY to trump...not the United States.. He advocated for White Christian Nationalism. and also advocated for the replacement of democracy with authoritarianism.....dictatory type rule..... for America.
He was no hero. he was a completely radicalized right wing cult member.
