Do you think old people should be allowed to sit up stairs on the bench s/

They slow things up

Nobody gets any younger.
You will someday be old.

@Adrift A well lived life ages well like fine wine.

@twistedrope Until ultimately, it eventually turns to vinager.

Whilst agreeing that nobody should dictate to anybody else about something fairly trivial like this, I am totally against the elderly (and I am one) from consuming other people's time just to make their lives better.
*You may have seen a previous post of mine about elderly people holding up the line in a bank or shop just to talk.

Sit on a Bench of what ?
🤣.

Listen here cupcake while i rant at you with my misaligned false teeth spitting on you.

You wanna hold this bus up more?
I can slow to a REALLY annoying shuffle if ya want ?

Or maybe ill just go all millennial on ya and start screaming " AGEISM" at ya 😏

Just chill.

Patience is a wonderful skill to learn.
Tolerance, even better .

Compassion, best of all 🤗
@GeniUs is it selfish ?

Imagine being old:

Lost your life partner.
No longer work
Friends are dying

Is it selfish to want a little human interaction?

Or is it selfish that a few minites to let someone have this at the closing cycle of their life, is too much for you to spare ?🤷‍♀️

@OogieBoogie It is selfish to interfere with the lives of other people who do not want that interaction. You have painted a bleak picture which just isn't the case in the instances I've seen this year, they aren't people at the end of life they are retired people who are bored. There are ways to interreact with people; I work for some retired people and I always spend the time with them either whilst working or at the end of the job. What I don't want are people coming into shops and tying up the staff with questions they already know the answer to. It's selfish on their behalf.
@GeniUs okey dokey.

Im sure you have reasons to feel the way you do.

I just think we dont know everyone's story. You dont know what they go home to, what life is like.

There are many elderly people that go to the doctor not for anything... but just to be listened to - to have human interaction.

Im not going to resent an elderly person, or anyone for that matter, for wanting a little conversation.
I think its a kindness to give time to people.

A Moment can change a person's day from bleak to nice.🤷‍♀️
