Been there, done that, literally nothing to be afraid of, because there's literally nothing to be afraid of. I was totally unaware that it happened. I awoke ten days later, oblivious that I flatlined during medical transport

@reubles my old friend had a similar experience. he fell asleep on his sofa and had an asthma attack in his sleep. he flatlined and when he was brought back he assumed he was just waking up from his nap. i asked him if he saw anything. (yes i kinda felt like an idiot asking but i was too curious.) and he said it just felt like any other dreamless night.

Not really but I am afraid of suffering beforehand
pentacorn · F
death, not so much. apprehension about the process of dying, absolutely
Somewhat, but more so the potential pain involved with dying.
PoeticPlay · 51-55, M
Nope.

DeadPool is plotting my demise last I heard.

Seems Lady Death has built a Burning Man ish effigy, that makes the others look like pygmies in comparison. And is waiting for whatever it is that is significant on that day at that time.
To torch ME!
Apparently to catch my attention to put me in such a position, that I declare my intentions on making her wifey and no longer just another Mistress.

Afraid no.
Tempted DEFINITELY!!

I’m afraid of how I’m gonna die.
@mindstruggle Don't worry, you're immortal!
I died a few times last year and honestly it was pretty beautiful. I was pretty inconsolable about the fact that I couldn't stay there and hope when I'm actually ready to go permanently it's just as beautiful.

There wasn't anything scary about it in the end and it was exactly what I hoped it would be. Peace.

i flipflop. some days i'm just tired and don't care enough to worry about what comes after (most likely literal nothingness.) and other times the idea of dying horrifies me.
No. I mean obviously there is the natural instinctive fear of Death but, despite that, I don't fear it.
Bleak · 36-40, F
I think most of us are not afraid of death, but we are sort of afraid of bidding good bye to our loved ones.
TexChik · F
Certainly. It's horrifying to consider, however, not even Jesus got through life without dying.
Picklebobble2 · 56-60, M
Only the manner in which it happens.
I'd hate to have to hang around tied to machines.
No. I’ve accepted it, and that it will probably be painful.
