We share a lifestyle. I live alone, as well, and also might not be found for days, or even weeks, if I were to die at home.

However, when you die - that is, when your [i]body[/i] dies - your awareness not only does not stop, but your consciousness expands, filling the totality of your True Being as it comes into alignment with it.

Consciousness survives physical death, and it's instant. There is no lapse in consciousness. If you die in your sleep, you will become [i]instantly[/i] conscious. It's like waking up from a dream of this physical, time/space reality into your [i]true[/i] reality.

I've studied the death experience for many years. Virtually [i]all[/i] of the people who have had "near-death experiences" report this in their accounts of their transitions to "the other side." (By the way, this has nothing to do with religion. Atheists report the same experience when they die and are medically resuscitated.)

That one fear is always there for everyone who is living alone. Only way out is, staying in touch with someone regularly.
Like me and one of my friend, we both live alone. If we didn’t have any communication for 3 days, we call each other and check on each other.

I suppose if one's heart is going to stop when sleeping it's the least likely to cause pain to the person who's heart stops. Everything is at rest, breathing slow, heart rate minimal, body relaxed.

As I'm 55 now, I think about my 'endgame' a fair bit esp since I have a 6 y/o daughter to think of. I would like to fulfil at least one promise to myself that I made for her and that is that I live to help, guide and support her until she becomes a fully fledged vibrant adult in her own right. My other kids are already adults.

Every day I wake up is a blessing as it means I get to see another rotation of the earth around it's axis and another day in which the universe around us changes.

I dont care how i die, its the people around me that i worry about

I honestly never felt that way.
Tbh I might be dead already if I wasn't afraid of the pain.
I'd like to be alive at least half the time, so I would not like to die painfully and in fear of that pain.
Consequently, I like the thought of dying in my sleep in the next few years.

I died once I got stung by a bee and didn't know I was anaphylactic and I died in the ambulance they had defibrillate me
