Yes I do, don't want to die by fire, car wreck, drowning especially. Don't want to be aware I'm dying thinking about dying as I'm dying.

Beautywithin · 36-40, F
I've had enough emotional pain in my life i hope when my time is coming to an end i don't suffer too much.
TheOthetAcc · 36-40, M
@Beautywithin I feel you
Musicman · 61-69, M
No I don't and I refuse to dwell on the subject either.
TheRascallyOne · 31-35, M
I hope its slow and painful
TheOthetAcc · 36-40, M
@TheRascallyOne Ever seen a clip of a rabbit get skinned alive?
TheRascallyOne · 31-35, M
@TheOthetAcc no but in real life i would imagine all pain would vanish the moment you die
Ashly · 26-30, F
Yes 🫣
I’m hoping it’s quick or I die in my sleep.

But then i wonder, if you die in your sleep, will you ever wake up to realize you died? 🤔
TheRascallyOne · 31-35, M
@Ashly what if you wake up dead? 🤪
Ashly · 26-30, F
@TheRascallyOne will you dream forever?
TheRascallyOne · 31-35, M
@Ashly lol maybe
Coralmist · 41-45, F
I do fear it but as soon as I think about it I try to let the thought go. I have had a life of hell so it scares me to think of death ..I just try to listen to music when I start overthinking.

I'm in pain all the time so it won't matter i have a high tolerance for it
4meAndyou · F
I think about it as often as I think about...um...er...marrying a merman. 😁 Makes no difference if I think about it or not. What will happen will happen. I am an organ donor, so the only thing I hope is that the surgeons don't decide to off me a bit early because a child desperately needs my kidneys or some such thing...☺️☺️☺️
@4meAndyou I found this poster when I was about 13. It's still one of my most favorite images .🤗
When I was little, I used to sit under the water at the beach and try to grow gills 😂
Nitedoc · 51-55, M
So that's how mermaids do it.
Nitedoc · 51-55, M
Not at all.
CrazyMusicLover · 31-35
As long as dying will be short, I don't really care that much. I rather wonder if I will be able to recognize that I'm dying. I will probably think it's still not the end.
Ducky · 31-35, F
No. What would be the point?
TheOthetAcc · 36-40, M
@Ducky It could steer you into making better decisions, like maybe it's not a bright idea to speed on a wet road, for those among us that speed often, or being careful before crossing the road
Ducky · 31-35, F
@TheOthetAcc Well, that's just common sense. I suppose those who don't have that ought to consider such things. Gawd knows there are plenty who are like that, lol.
HenryMills · M
I do not. Worrying about my death limits my life.
Nitedoc · 51-55, M
@HenryMills Good point!
Justmeraeagain · 56-60, F
That's kinda dumb... sometimes... anxiety is dumb
I do wonder, yet I dont care to find out or dwell on it.
How many of us live a life of pain? It only makes sense that death would be more of the same.

HumanEarth · 56-60, M
I'm ready living it.

The elite people that secretly control the world are poisoning us by, giving us cancer, giving us addictive drugs, chemicals in our drinking water, chemicals in our food and so much more. That 99% of think I'm crazy
Fertilization · 36-40, F
I stay positive 🙏
SW-User
Not until now
TheOthetAcc · 36-40, M
@SW-User Lol. so sorry
Whatever will be will be
Yes, and with some of the ailments common in my family (cancer, diabetes), it’s possible. I hope I don’t linger.
i think the less you resist, the more pleasant it will be.
It's more I worry about suffering a slow death...like dementia, or cancer, or just gradual degradation .
Pain can be emotional, mental, physical : id prefer, if I could, not to have it drawn out.
Nitedoc · 51-55, M
@OogieBoogie I know what you mean. There are no guarantees. I just try to head forward and hope for the best.
@Nitedoc I'm actively finding ways and information on 'extending quality of life '

I'm good with dying .
Im good with not living for ages .
I just wanna live well till I die .

I've watched people near me get diabetes and within two years , they are near crippled, overweight, and very ill.
Yet I've seen others get it - and it changes their life for the better - healthier than ever .

And I really want to keep that sort of freedom of independence, mobility and daily basic enjoyment of life .

I don't want tj be that person that ends up talking about their lastest new ailment 😂
Nitedoc · 51-55, M
@OogieBoogie That's great to hear! Never give up!
TheOthetAcc · 36-40, M
@Lilnonames Its a terrifying thought
