"A man died after bungee jumping 764 feet off a tower in China"

i hate thrill seekers...jocks...the police....the FBI....These people just want us to look at them mesmerized and say "Gee you are really keen." When actually they are all insane. completely without any control...insane.

Let me guess, and the cord stretched 765 feet? Another one bites the dust.
TexChik · F
@LILY61 He climbed up there and attached it, I guess. Those things are really big and heavy-duty.
@TexChik he had to have had help. that would be alot of weight to carry up there
TexChik · F
@LILY61 yep I thought so too
It’s sad that he died. It’s also sad that you took it as an opportunity to talk about how much you hate different kinds of people as if it makes it okay that someone died.
@Colonelmustardseed i was referring to people who do stupid things just to put themselves and others in a dangerous situation. i also hate people who criticize others for having feelings about other people who hate people that intentionally put themselves and others in a dangerous situation...just to be rude and make it appear as if they are better than the original poster

I used to watch some on Youtube for a while. It gets old, lol. You've seen a few, you've seen them all. I guess most of them are psychos with whacked out brain chemistry.
@CrazyMusicLover must be ..i can't imagine doing any of the stunts on any of those youtubes
CrazyMusicLover · 31-35
@LILY61 It doesn't make much sense. A normal person doesn't need to do any of those things just to stop feeling bored.
@CrazyMusicLover i am always bored but i have no inclination toward jumping off roofs or wrestling tigers

Looks like he paid to do it...and his health wasn't up to it....
On their website, Skypark by AJ Hackett, the company that runs the bungee jump and other attractions at Macau Tower, advises customers to let their staff know about any medical concerns they may have before participating in any of their activities. Heart issues, hypertension, diabetes, and prior surgical procedures are among them.
@fun4us2b i am sorry for laughing but isn't that supposed to be on the paper work they sign before taking the plunge? they do that when you jump out of a plane
fun4us2b · M
@LILY61 I imagine they probably do....but that would infer logic...
there is really nothing keen about going "splat" and making a big bloody mess. LOL
PinkMoon · 26-30, F
He died from heart failure after jumping. He didn't splat y'all.
@PinkMoon same stupid outcome. dying from doing something stupid. and he could have landed on someone
DearAmbellina2113 · 41-45, F
They really think the rest of us are impressed lol
@DearAmbellina2113 they don't impress me much
assemblingaknob · 26-30, F
Why so high without a chute, sheesh
@assemblingaknob probably trying to break some record that nobody cares about
PatKirby · M
Yep sounds like this guy was just dying to break the record.

I dunno why people do this .
Bungee jumping carries so many health risks , even for healthy people .
It's bad on joints , the nerves, circulation , the heart, blood pressure etc.
You can even tear muscles 🤷

Personally I think it should be only done after a health check ....if at all
@OogieBoogie i think that no one should ever bungee jump and only people who would ever need to do it in their jobs should hang glide or jump out of an airplane
@LILY61 oh I think we should have the choice , but it should be an educated one.
It's when people are blindly ignorant, (sometimes thru no fault of their own), they put themselves in harms way .

Had this man been clearly explained the health risks, and required a mandatory health check, he prolly would have been denied...and still be alive.
It's the fact that he evidently didn't fully understand what he was about to do to himself ....and his body, that pisses me off .

It's negligence .
Places like this need rules, regulation, and full clarity to clientele.
It's called occupational health and safety .
@OogieBoogie or maybe he knew exactly what he was doing
I hate when people die being stupid. There should at least be a chance to learn from one’s mistakes. 🙁
@bijouxbroussard i wonder if this guy wanted to die but wanted to do it famously
MartinTheFirst · 22-25, M
What does police and F B I have to do with thrill seekers ?
@MartinTheFirst The same mentality...."Oooh, i am going to chase after and shoot some bad matter who gets in the way. And i love racing my car after some supposed bad guys even though i might cause death or injury to anyone that gets in my way." We have seen alot of this in videos of police chases. They do the job for the rush. Not to help people.
