Do u welcome change, or do u resist it?

I find I'm not as resilient as I used to be.
CrazyMusicLover · 31-35
I only welcome a change that is instantly a change for the better. I hate adaptation period. So yes, I usually resist it and if it's in my control, I put it off until I decide it's really necessary and inevitable.

@CrazyMusicLover same same

I gave up on resisting change long ago... it's a constant in life and while not always a comfortable thing, it is life.
robertsnj · 56-60, M
i think we all resist change we don't like / some are more apt to admit it than others depending on the change and the speed of that change .

sometimes we have so little control over our circumstances and that resistence is in defiance of the lack of control that we have

it is a cool question for introspection
Sutten · 36-40, F
Depends on the type of change.

There's no way to resist it. Change happens no matter what. Anymore I just go with it. What else can you do?
Wiseacre · F
@LadyBronte go against it!
LadyBronte · 56-60, F
@Wiseacre I think even if you fight against one change, something else will change. It is the nature of life.

It depends . But I’m usually open minded to most things that are gonna improve my life.
Wiseacre · F
@SW-User change is often not an improvement
depends

is it change just for the sake of change.

or something meaningful and productive?.
Justmeraeagain · 56-60, F
I don't embrace it nor shrink from it.
Without change we will have stagnet lives
Depends on the change
AnotherWeirdo · 41-45, M
Eh, I feel like a lot of times the changes that I want are not the ones that end up happening. So... there's some resistance.
Wiseacre · F
@AnotherWeirdo understandably
Umile · 41-45, F
Nowadays, I just roll with it.

Screw worrying.
Wiseacre · F
@Umile easier said....
Umile · 41-45, F
@Wiseacre True. But. I am just now learning that it just wastes time. Now I just fix it and do what I can.
Wiseacre · F
I resist manmade changes bc they're never for the better.
I welcome it if it's something I want. If not, no, why would I?
MarkPaul · 26-30, M
I'm a change agent.
Wiseacre · F
@MarkPaul o, ok...
Bang5luts · M
Welcome. To me, change is always an opportunity for improvement
