@Adrift :) I remember our pre-school son was going through his additions with me flashing cards from a deck of additions. 2+4=?, 3+2=?, etc. Somehow a multiplication card got mixed in the deck, like "3X3=?", to which he responded "6". Flipping it over where it said "9", he responded "NO!!! Miss. Williams said it's 6!!". I showed confusion with the thought of drawing attention to the :"X" vs "+", but he grabbed the card and turned the 9 upside down where it became a 6, saying "Now you have it right."

@moonyean I have nothing but compassion for teachers today, very few student have parents that take their responsibility seriously, coupled with the establishment has removed all authority of teachers to control their subjects!!
